Cheap Baby Cribs – Things To Consider When Buying
Whether your are buying a cheap baby crib or an expensive one, here are some things that you should consider when buying one:
1.) If you are buying a crib with rollers, be sure that the locking mechanism is working well. This prevents the crib from moving across the floor.
2.) Be sure that mattress hangers function well. These hangers will allow you to lower the mattress as your baby grows. Be sure that mattress is set to its lowest position as your baby grows and becomes taller and mobile.
3.) If you are planning to use bumper pads, be sure that they fit tightly and securely against the sides of the crib. Always check to see if the ties are secured and short as possible. Bumper pads should be removed once baby can pull up and stand.
4.) You should carefully consider the place where to put the crib. Whether it be in your baby’s nursery room or a space in your living room. Cribs should be places at least one foot from the wall, cabinet, or any other furniture in the room that baby may reach. It is also not advisable to put it near the windows where there are blinds and drapes installed.
